History, Purpose & Mission
History
As a young couple eighteen years ago in 2003, Apostle Udunna and wife answered the call in Yaoundé Cameroon, to birth our Church. With a burning desire to fulfil the great commission, their drive to make disciples has given birth to Tower of Refuge Church– Yaoundé, Cameroon (2003), Amazing Grace Community Church – Caney, Kansas (2006) and Tower of Refuge Church – Houston, Texas (2017). Worshippers Glory Ministries International, Yaoundé – Cameroon, founded in 2019 joined the TORCH family in September of 2021. Passionate about impacting people with the message of Christ, our Church family continues to grow, and many have been equipped across nations to be effective in their calling and ministry.
Purpose
The purpose of Tower of Refuge Church (TORCH) is to do the Father’s will.
Everything TORCH does must be according to God’s will.
Our goal is to make the Gospel accessible to everyone.
Mission
Our mission is to lead people to the transformative power of Christ and help them discover and fulfill their divine purpose.
We engage people where they are with the Gospel and help them grow to become disciples of Christ.
